Eating and Talking Today

Larry is more responsive this morning and eating real food! Peg says he is more alert and asking and answering questions. He still has a little trouble with the atrial rhythm and they are treating it with medications right now, but they still think it is a result of the surgery and not nearly as troubling as the ventricular arrhythmias he experienced earlier.

He is un-hooked from most of the tubes and wires and will probably get up to a chair today!! They will start with that and then work to rebuild strength over the next few days with physical therapy.

  2. Great news, Larry! Keep up the good work!

Jake's team tied for 5th in Des Moines - we went down on Sunday and saw 2 games - the first one was an exciting one - they started w/a triple play, but couldn't seem to get the bats going for awhile, but won 6-2. Then they lost to an IA City team, so were finished!

    Sending healing thoughts your way,

  3. Larry - so glad to hear that you are awake and talking. You have been through a lot, but we know you have the determination to get back your strength and come back to the Midwest. You just need a few of those Paris subway stairways to walk up and down! Keep up the good work.

  4. We are really glad you are doing so well, Larry. Keep up the great work! We are, however, hoping that your allergies of Democrats still exist, even after Massachusetts has taken such good care of you! :)

And, Peg - you are a miracle lady yourself. God gave you all of that great patience to be so strong through all of this. :)

Marsha's great song she found again this past month is by Phil Collins / Genesis: "Follow you, Follow me". It is a great partnering strength song. We hope you can hear it sometime.

Only the best to you and your family,
    Chris and Marsha Gunnare

    Larry,

Great news! We should arrange to have Coach Elgin come and lead your calisthenics and wind sprints. Someone should make Peg Chair of the Republican National Committee. Seeing what she has done for you, Obama would not stand a chance.
