Larry had another night without incident and continues to improve. The doctor this morning was very upbeat about his progress and where he is heading. He said the hope is to have him at least back to where he was before all this happened, and hopefully with the by-pass being successful, the heart might even be stronger than it was ( this could take 6 months to determine.) His white count is elevated so they are working to see what he might have for an infection to maximize treatment. He's also still fluid restricted as they work to get the excess fluids off.
He's been able to view some things on-line and has been hearing your comments!!
Curtis and Nate will be on their way for a visit bright and early on Thursday.

Peggy called to check in. Her last info was when they had decided to sedate you so she was pretty excited. She says she misses your conversations about books and travel and all the things you chatted about. She is praying for you both and thinking about you a lot.

ReplyDeleteLarry - way to go! We have been thrilled to read of your continuing improvement. Peg we think of you often and the strength you have had through all of this. You two are amazing. We continue to pray for improvement and a trip home for the two of you soon. So glad Curt and Nancy will be with you this weekend. Larry - no fireworks in your room. Great to read about your improvement! So glad you are on the road to recovery. Not sure what kind of flirting you're gonna have to do to get that Diet Coke, but I'm sure there will be another in your near future.
